On the afternoon of 28 May 2026, Nan Jung's eighth-graders set out in groups to clean the campus and the neighboring community — part of the school's commitment to service learning and character education.
Working together, students swept, picked up litter and tidied the grounds. Many kept going even as they grew tired, showing a responsible, can-do spirit. Staff reminded them to mind traffic safety and to keep their voices low near homes, practicing the courtesy of good citizens.
Through hands-on service, the school hopes students learn to care for their environment, to give of themselves and to value resources — and that the bond between school and community grows a little closer with each effort.
2026年5月28日の午後、南榮の8年生がグループに分かれ、校内と近隣地域の清掃に出かけました。学校が進める奉仕学習と品格教育の一環です。
生徒たちは協力して掃き掃除やごみ拾い、環境整備に取り組みました。汗だくになっても手を止めず、責任感ある前向きな姿勢を見せました。教職員は交通安全に気をつけ、住宅のそばでは声を抑えるよう促し、良き市民としての礼儀を実践しました。
実際の奉仕活動を通して、環境を大切にする心、進んで人のために動く姿勢、資源を惜しむ気持ちを育むこと、そして学校と地域の絆が一歩深まることを願っています。
