At the 2026 National Teachers' & Students' Folk Song Competition, the Nan Jung choir stood out with poised, finely shaded singing to win the top “Excellence” award — its seventh national “Excellence” in all, another honor for the school.
Singing in the Taiwanese-language division, the choir performed two folk pieces that capture the playful joy of children catching crabs in old Taiwan and the deep love of family. Warm and finely layered, the songs moved both judges and audience; a student dancer answered the music with supple movement, adding depth and tension to a near-flawless performance.
Behind the result lay the careful guidance of teachers and long hours of the members' own practice — from breath control to the blending of voices, every detail polished again and again. The choir will keep striving, carrying its music to ever-greater stages.
2026年の全国師生郷土歌謡コンクールで、南榮合唱団は安定した、繊細な表現の歌唱で抜きん出て、最高位の「特優」を受賞しました。これで全国特優は通算7度目、学校にまた一つ栄誉を加えました。
台湾語の部で、合唱団は2曲の民謡を披露。昔の台湾の子どもが蟹を捕る愉しさと、家族への深い愛情を歌い上げました。温かく層の豊かな歌声は審査員と観客の心を打ち、生徒のしなやかな舞が音楽に応えて、ほぼ完璧な演奏に深みと張りを添えました。
この成果の背景には、先生方の丁寧な指導と、団員自身の長い練習の時間がありました。息づかいから声部の融合まで、細部を何度も磨き上げてきたのです。合唱団はこれからも研鑽を重ね、その歌声をより大きな舞台へ運んでいきます。
