A Warm Welcome at the Gate 校門口的相見歡
Thank you to the team at Shalu Vocational High School for such a thoughtful afternoon. The moment KangLang's teachers and students arrived, the welcome at the school gate — and a table of green, eco-themed gifts — made everyone feel the warmth right away.
感謝沙鹿高工團隊的貼心安排。一抵達，校門口的相見歡和各式各樣代表綠色生態的禮物，就讓槺榔國小的師生感受到滿滿的熱情。
Teacher Wang Jie-ting then led a tour of the campus ecology — from the clever “Treasure Zone,” where waste materials are given a second life, all the way to the beautiful potted-plant garden. The children's eyes opened wide.
接著由王介廷老師帶領大家進行校園生態導覽，走訪了將廢料活用的神祕「阿寶區」，以及漂亮的盆栽園藝，豐富的環境知識讓孩子們大開眼界。

把綠色環保的種子深深種進心裡，總有一天會長成一整座花園。
Hands in the Soil 把手伸進泥土裡
The best part was the doing. In the leaf-compost area, the children dug, mixed dried leaves, and even sieved their own soil to bag up and carry home as a souvenir. They tried plant cuttings, and learned the difference between liquid fertiliser and solid kitchen-waste fertiliser.
活動的重頭戲是「動手做」。在落葉堆肥區，孩子們認真地挖土、堆肥，還細心將自己篩選的土壤裝袋，帶回家當作最有意義的紀念禮物；也動手操作了植物插枝，認識了液態肥與固體廚餘肥的不同。
The children came home full — full of knowledge, and full of the example set by the older students. We hope to bring these experiences back to our own campus, and make it greener still.
這趟參訪不僅開拓了孩子們的視野，也讓大家學到沙鹿高工哥哥們的落落大方，收穫滿滿、意猶未盡。期待把這些珍貴的經驗帶回學校，讓校園變得更美麗、更環保。
