In year two of our Sister School Program, our fifth graders turned their sports day and a local field trip into films for India — carried along by a song they had practiced for almost a year.

姐妹校計畫第二年,五年級的孩子把運動會與鄉野踏查拍成影片寄給印度,背景音樂是練了將近一年的一首歌。

School Life on Film 用影片記錄校園生活

KangLang's Ministry of Education Sister School Program entered its second year. Beyond live video calls, our fifth graders made two themed films — one about our sports day, one about a local field walk — to share with our partner school in India. Filming this way lets us show our daily school life while getting past the obstacle of time-zone differences.

槺榔國小執行教育部姐妹校計畫邁入第二年。除了多場線上交流,五年級的孩子以運動會鄉野踏查為主題,錄製了兩支影片分享給印度的學校。以影片呈現,既能分享校園生活的點滴,也消弭了國際交流的時差限制。

A Year of Singing Practice 練唱一整年

The soundtrack is worth a special mention: our fifth and sixth graders practiced it for almost a whole year, learning the English lyrics word by word and rehearsing line by line.

影片的配樂特別值得一提:五、六年級的孩子練習了將近一整年,從英文歌詞逐字學起,一句句反覆練唱,著實費了不少心力。
