Two Goals, Two Countries
Our sixth graders held an international exchange with students from Him Academy Public School in India, built around the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The focus was on SDG 12, responsible consumption and production, and SDG 13, climate action — with the “three Rs” at its heart: reduce, reuse, recycle.
In groups, our students presented Taiwan's recycling system and showed how everyday objects can be reused — even turning plastic bottles, paper, and cardboard into useful tools and creative toys. The Indian students gave individual reports on how the three Rs work in their own community.
