A Feast Under the Trees 樹下的辦桌

On the last day of the term, KangLang set out tables in the schoolyard to celebrate our outstanding eco-helpers and character stars, and held a talk on environmental education and net-zero carbon. The theme of the day: Care for the Earth, gather in gratitude as the year ends — the Three Goods, here at KangLang.

休業式這天，槺榔在校園裡辦桌，鼓勵表現優異的環保小尖兵及品格之星，並辦理一場環境教育淨零碳排講座。當天的主題是：「環保愛地球，歲末感恩聚，三好校園在槺榔。」

The New Year was almost here — a time for families to gather around the hot pot. So right here, in the school's Sustainability Exploration Learning Garden, we let the children experience the culture of a Taiwanese “ban-toh” outdoor banquet, and feel the lively, bustling warmth of the season.

快要過年了，團圓圍爐，就在校園裡的永續探索體驗學習園區裡，讓孩子們體驗一下辦桌文化，感受一下熱鬧滾滾的年節氣氛。

This was a cross-subject activity joining environmental education, character education, and food-and-farming education — and an unforgettable memory for the children. KangLang: a school where children get to create and think.

這是環境教育、品格教育、食農教育的跨領域活動，也是孩子們難忘的回憶。槺榔國小，一所讓孩子創造思考的學校。
