Zhangshu Elementary School

Zhangshu Elementary School was founded in 1989 as Haotian Elementary School, taking its current name, Zhangshu, in December 1990. In 1998 it was designated an Indigenous-focus school, reflecting the presence of Indigenous families among Xizhi's industrial-era migrant workforce, and in 2002 it established an Indigenous Resource Classroom to support those students. The school is a distinct institution from the newer Zhangshu International Experimental Technical Senior High School, which shares its name but serves a different age group.

樟樹國小創立於民國78年（1989年），原名「昊天國小」，於民國79年（1990年）12月更名為「樟樹國小」。民國87年（1998年）獲指定為原住民重點學校，反映了汐止工業移民勞動人口中原住民家庭的存在，並於民國91年（2002年）成立原住民資源教室以協助相關學生。該校與同名但招收不同年齡層學生的樟樹國際實創高中，是完全不同的兩所學校。
