Building on the advantage Taiwan already holds in Mandarin, the Bilingual 2030 policy aims to further strengthen citizens' English communication ability and Taiwan's global competitiveness. It is led by the National Development Council (overall coordination) and the Ministry of Education (delivery in schools).
立基於臺灣既有的華語優勢,「2030 雙語政策」旨在進一步強化國人的英文溝通能力與全球競爭力。由國家發展委員會統籌、教育部負責教育推行。

Adjust rules so schools can innovate and adopt bilingual teaching more freely.

The Executive Yuan approves the Bilingual Nation policy blueprint.行政院核定雙語國家政策發展藍圖。
