A small mountain school with a modest beginning.
Zhangkeng Elementary became independent in 1968, but its roots go back to a 1950 branch class that was housed in a donated rice-noodle factory building. Located along the Linkou-to-Bali County Road 105, it is one of the smallest schools in the district, currently running just six classes and serving the modest, rural mountain-village community of Changkeng.
