National Yunlin University of Science and Technology (YunTech) was founded on July 1, 1991, and upgraded to full university status in 1997. Located in Douliu City, Yunlin's administrative and commercial hub, YunTech has grown into one of Taiwan's top technological universities, organized into five colleges — Engineering, Management, Design, Humanities and Applied Sciences, and Future — serving roughly 9,500 students.
國立雲林科技大學創校於民國80年（1991年）7月1日，並於民國86年（1997年）改制為大學。校址位於雲林縣的行政與商業中心斗六市，如今已發展為台灣頂尖的科技大學之一，設有工程、管理、設計、人文與應用科學、未來等五大學院，在學學生約9,500人。
