Yumin Elementary School

Yumin Elementary was named and approved in 1989 under first principal Chen Maoliang, formally established that June. Because its own campus was not yet ready, the school spent its first two years borrowing classrooms at neighboring Danfeng and Min'an Elementary before enrolling its first class fully on its own campus in 1990. Its gradual founding process reflects how strained school capacity had become during Xinzhuang's rapid population growth of the 1980s and 1990s.

裕民國小於民國78年（1989年）奉准命名設校，首任校長為陳茂良，並於同年6月正式成立。由於自有校舍尚未完工，學校最初兩年借用鄰近丹鳳國小與民安國小的教室上課，直到民國79年（1990年）才首次在自有校舍完整招生。這段逐步成立的過程，反映出1980至90年代新莊人口快速成長下校舍嚴重不足的實況。
