Peanut country, built into the campus itself.
Heping Elementary began as a branch school in 1951, became independent in 1962, and took its current name in 1968. The school celebrated its 60th anniversary as an independent institution, and today its campus directly reflects Yuanchang Township's identity as one of the region's leading peanut-producing areas — down to peanut-shaped classroom nameplates and an organic vegetable garden where students learn peanut cultivation firsthand.
