Born from a policy, shaped by a model.

Yongjing Junior High was founded in 1964 as Changhua County, under county leader Lu Shih-ming, pursued a policy of establishing one junior high school per township. The school began as a branch of Beidou Junior High, temporarily using the facilities of Yongjing Elementary School before relocating to its own campus in 1965 and gaining independent status as Changhua County Yongjing Junior High School in 1966. Over the decades, the school developed what became known as the "Yongjing Model" — an aptitude-based instruction and vocational-exploration approach that drew recognition from education experts.
