Xiyang Junior High School

Xiyang Junior High was founded on January 8, 1970, initially as "Changhua County Chenggong Junior High School," and renamed Xiyang Junior High School that same year, on July 24. Under its first principal, Huang Wen-lan, who took office that July, students began by borrowing classrooms at nearby Chenggong Elementary School while their own campus was under construction. The school moved to its current site on December 2, 1970, with just six classrooms, an office, a crafts room, and a water tower — and by the following summer, growing enrollment had already prompted the construction of six more classrooms plus a science lab and library.

溪陽國中創立於民國59年（1970年）1月8日，最初名為「彰化縣立成功初級中學」，同年7月24日更名為溪陽國民中學。首任校長黃文蘭於同年7月就任，學生最初借用鄰近成功國小的教室上課，同時校舍仍在興建中。學校於1970年12月2日遷入現址，當時僅有六間教室、一間辦公室、一間工藝教室與一座水塔；到隔年夏天，因學生人數成長，已再增建六間教室及一間科學實驗室與圖書館。
