Xinzhuang Senior High School opened in 1992 as Taiwan Provincial Xinzhuang Senior High School, becoming Xinzhuang's first public senior high in a town whose population had boomed since the 1970s. The school was reclassified as a national high school in 2000 and became a city-run school under New Taipei City in 2013. It now enrolls about 2,200 students across roughly 57 classes, offering a general academic program, an art class, and an experimental finance-management/language track.
新莊高中創立於民國81年（1992年），初名「臺灣省立新莊高級中學」，是新莊——這個自1970年代工業擴張後人口迅速成長的市鎮——第一所公立高中。民國89年（2000年）改隸國立，民國102年（2013年）再改為新北市立。現有約57班、學生近2,200人，設有普通科、美術班及財經管理/語文實驗班。
