Xinbei Vocational High School

Xinbei Vocational High School began preparations in 1979 and was formally established in 1980 as Taiwan Provincial Haishan Vocational High School. Decades later, it remains a large industrial vocational school in Tucheng District, and is still commonly called “Haishan Vocational” (海山高工) by locals — a name referencing “Haishan,” the old regional name for the greater Banqiao–Tucheng area. The school trains students across a range of industrial vocational tracks, preparing them for technical careers in manufacturing and engineering fields.

新北高工於民國68年（1979年）籌備，69年（1980年）正式設校，初名「台灣省立海山高級工業職業學校」。歷經數十年發展，如今仍是土城區規模龐大的工業類高職，在地居民至今仍慣稱其為「海山高工」——「海山」一詞源自板橋與土城一帶的舊地名。學校設有多項工業類科，培育學生投入製造與工程相關的技術職涯。
