Xikun Junior High School began planning in 1988 and opened in 1990 as Banqiao's seventh junior high school. It sits along the Dahan River near Fuzhou Bridge (浮州橋), on the border shared by Banqiao, Shulin, and Xinzhuang districts. The school includes special-education and resource classes, plus an attached kindergarten, and was formally renamed a municipal school in 2010.
溪崑國中於民國77年(1988年)開始籌設,民國79年(1990年)創校,是板橋第7所國中。校址位於大漢溪畔浮州橋附近,緊鄰板橋、樹林、新莊三區交界。學校設有特教班與資源班,並附設幼兒園,民國99年(2010年)改制為市立學校。
