A branch rooted in a military village.
The Ziqiang Branch's origins in a military dependents' village (眷村) reflect the wave of mainland Chinese military families who settled in Zhuwei after 1949, adding a distinct layer to the area's post-war community history. See the New Taipei county page for more on the region.
