Zhongzheng Junior High began preparations in 1987 and was formally established in 1989, through cooperation between the school and local Tucheng township leaders as the area's population grew. The campus is distinctive for its nine teaching and administration buildings, each named after a Confucian virtue, and the school now runs a Maker Center and a career-exploration center for students.
中正國中於民國76年（1987年）籌備，78年（1989年）正式設校，是學校與土城地方仕紳合作、因應人口成長而設立。校園特色是九棟教學與行政大樓，皆以儒家美德命名。學校現設有自造者（Maker）中心與生涯探索中心，供學生體驗與探索。
