A school emblem born from fireflies and lotus.
Xingfu Elementary began in 1954 as a branch of Jiabao Elementary School, taking its present name in 1973. The school is located in Xiafu village, one of Linkou's old agrarian hamlets, whose rural character inspired an early teacher to design the school's emblem — depicting fireflies flickering near a lotus pond, a poetic image that still represents the school today.
