A century school along Route 3.
Tucheng Elementary traces its history to 1909, during the Japanese colonial era, when it began as a branch of Banqiao Public School before becoming independent as Tucheng Public School in 1913. Now a “century school” along the historic Route 3 corridor, it has grown into the largest elementary school in Tucheng District, with 106 regular classes and roughly 2,920 students, alongside special-education, gifted, and resource classes.
