Founded for a booming northern Sanxia.
Jieshou Elementary was established in 1994 to relieve growing enrollment pressure on nearby Anxi Elementary School, as the population of northern Sanxia surged following the opening of the North Second Freeway and the launch of the new Taipei University City development beginning in 1988. The school's founding is a direct product of that development-era expansion, and it continues to serve families in this rapidly urbanizing part of the district.
