Dingpu Elementary began in 1922 during the Japanese colonial era as a branch classroom, and was formalized as an independent school in 1946. Now nearly a century old, the campus features a flower garden, a water park, and a “Contemplation Forest” home to more than a hundred plant species, and the school has won the national Reading Cornerstone Award for its reading culture.
頂埔國小創立於日治時期大正11年(1922年),最初為分教室,民國35年(1946年)正式獨立設校。如今建校將近百年,校園設有花園、戲水設施,以及擁有逾百種植物的「靜思林」,學校並曾榮獲全國閱讀磐石獎,肯定其閱讀推廣成果。
