A century-old school in the river valley.
Dapu Elementary began in 1922 as a branch of Sanxia Public School during the Japanese colonial era, becoming an independent public school (大埔公學校) in 1929. The school has been renamed several times through the 20th century as Taiwan's education system changed, and it completed a new campus building in 2013, continuing to serve the farming community of Dapu along the Sanxia river valley.
