Bali Elementary was founded in 1900 as Haiqiancuo Public School, taking the name Bali Elementary after 1945. It was Bali's first modern educational institution and remains one of the oldest schools in the greater Danshui area, retaining a protected historic red-brick classroom building from its early decades.
八里國小創立於1900年(日治時期),初名「海墘厝公學校」,1945年後更名為八里國小。該校是八里第一所現代化學校,也是大淡水地區歷史最悠久的學校之一,至今保留了具歷史保護價值的紅磚教室建築。
