A small school on a mountain border.
Wuliao Elementary began in 1927 during the Japanese colonial era, upgraded from a private school called "五寮義塾." It gained independent status in 1948 and adopted open education methods in 1994. The school sits in a remote mountain area straddling the border between Sanxia and Taoyuan's Fuxing District, and it rebuilt its library in 2021 to continue serving its small student body.
