Two hamlets, one school.
Wuguang Elementary School formed in 1958 from the merger of two branch classrooms established the previous year — one serving the Wuguang area and one serving the Guangming area. The combined name, "五光," reflects this joining of two small farming communities in western Wuri District into a single, independent school.
