Tuku Elementary traces its roots to 1899, formally established in 1908, making it one of the oldest schools in this corner of Yunlin County. Over more than a century it has grown into the anchor school of Tuku's historic market town, and its lineage has spun off three other elementary schools in the surrounding area, most recently Yuegang Elementary in 2021. Today the school enrolls around 666 students and operates an attached kindergarten and central kitchen.
