Tucheng Junior High opened in 1968 as Taipei County Tucheng Junior High, with its first class made up of just three sections — a modest beginning for what would become one of Tucheng's oldest junior high schools. The school now offers a math-gifted class and language-gifted resource services, extending specialized academic support well beyond its founding scale.
土城國中創立於民國57年（1968年），初名「台北縣土城國中」，首屆僅招收三個班級，規模十分有限，日後發展為土城地區歷史最悠久的國中之一。學校現設有數理資優班與語文資優資源班服務，提供學生更多元的學術支持。
