From junior high roots to a 70-year legacy.
Tianzhong Senior High traces its origins to preparatory approval granted in 1955, and was officially established on October 28, 1957 as Changhua County Tianzhong Junior Middle School. It became a full junior high school in 1968 and added a supplementary school in 1979. A preparatory office for a senior-high division opened in 2009, and the school officially became Changhua County Tianzhong Senior High School in 2011 — celebrating its 70th anniversary as an institution. Today it offers specialized programs including a semiconductor experimental class and a sports program, deeply connected to Tianzhong Township's identity as Taiwan's "rice granary."
田中高中的前身於民國44年（1955年）獲准籌設，並於民國46年（1957年）10月28日正式成立為彰化縣立田中初級中學。民國57年（1968年）改制為完全國中，民國68年（1979年）附設補校。民國98年（2009年）成立高中部籌備處，於民國100年（2011年）正式改制為彰化縣立田中高級中學，適逢建校70週年。學校目前設有半導體實驗班與體育班等特色課程，與田中鎮作為台灣「米倉」的地方特色緊密相連。
