Tianwei Elementary opened its doors in 1922 as a branch of neighboring Lufeng School, becoming an independent school four years later. Renamed several times through Taiwan's changing eras, it marked its 90th anniversary in 2012 and today serves the children of Tianwei Township, a rural community in central Taiwan best known for growing flowers.
田尾國小創校於民國11年（1922年），最初是陸豐公學校的分教場，四年後獨立設校。歷經數次更名，於民國101年（2012年）舉辦建校九十週年慶祝大會，至今持續服務彰化縣田尾鄉的學童——這個以花卉種植聞名的中台灣鄉鎮。
