Wufeng Junior High School was established in 1966 to serve the growing junior-high-age population of Wufeng District. Its campus sits on the plain where Qian Creek and Caohu Creek converge, surrounded by the rice paddies that have long defined this part of Wufeng. For nearly six decades it has been one of the district's central junior high schools.
