Taishan Senior High began in 1937 as the "Taipei Prefecture Public Xinzhuang Farmers' School" (臺北州公立新莊農民學校) in Wugu, reflecting the farming economy of the era. It became a five-year complete agricultural school in 1960, was renamed Xinzhuang Senior High in 1967, and took its current name, Taishan Senior High, in 1979. The school relocated to its current campus in Taishan in 2000, completing its transition into a comprehensive senior high school.
泰山高中創立於1937年,初名「臺北州公立新莊農民學校」,校址位於五股,反映了當時的農業經濟型態。1960年升格為五年制完全農業學校,1967年更名為新莊高中,1979年再改名為泰山高中並沿用至今。學校於2000年遷至現今泰山區的校址,完成邁向綜合高中的轉型。
