A century of history, now a hub for English immersion.
Shuicanlin Elementary traces its origins to April 20, 1916, when it began as the "Beigang Public School Shuicanlin Branch" during the Japanese colonial era. The school took its current identity in 2011, formed through the merger of Shuilin Elementary School and Canlin Elementary School. Today, with over a century of history behind it, Shuicanlin operates the "Shuicanlin English Village" (水燦林英語村), offering immersive English-language tours and activities that serve as an English-education hub for the wider coastal region.
