Shuangxi Senior High School

Shuangxi Senior High traces its origin to 1946, when it opened as "Taipei County Shuangxi Junior High School" (臺北縣立雙溪初級中學) — the first junior high school in the Keelung-Ruifang area. Fifty years later, in 1996, the school added a senior-high division under the comprehensive-high model, becoming the only secondary school in Shuangxi District and serving grades 7 through 12 under one roof. It maintains a student dormitory for students from the surrounding mountain villages, and its curriculum actively engages with Shuangxi and neighboring Jiufen's coal-mining heritage through local-history field programs, including mining-history walking tours to Jiufen.

雙溪高中的歷史可追溯至民國35年（1946年），創校時名為「臺北縣立雙溪初級中學」，是基隆、瑞芳地區第一所國中。五十年後的民國85年（1996年），學校依「綜合高中」模式增設高中部，成為雙溪區唯一的中等學校，橫跨國中、高中共六個年級。學校設有學生宿舍，供周邊山區學生住宿，課程也積極融入雙溪與鄰近九份的採礦歷史，透過地方史踏查活動，帶領學生走訪九份礦業遺跡。
