On the historic road toward Yilan.
Shuangfeng Elementary began in 1947 as the "Shuangkeng class" branch of Xindian School, becoming an independent school in 1962. Along the way it was renamed several times — from branch class, to branch school, to national school, before settling on its current name. The school sits on Beiyi Road, the historic route connecting the Taipei basin to Yilan, reflecting Xindian's long-standing role as a mountain gateway between the two regions.
