Shenkeng Junior High School

Shenkeng Junior High traces its roots to 1979, when it began as a branch campus of neighboring Shihding Junior High, serving families in this hilly corner of New Taipei City above the Sicheng River basin. It became an independent school in 1982. Today it is a relatively small campus — around 16 classes and roughly 337 students — that has built a distinctive identity around student wellbeing, earning national recognition as a "Health Promotion School" and designation as a "Life Education" characteristic school.

深坑國中的前身可追溯至1979年，最初做為鄰近石碇國中的分校，服務坐落於新北市石碇溪流域丘陵地帶的深坑地區家庭。民國71年（1982年）獨立設校。目前全校規模不大——約16班、337名學生左右——但發展出獨特的辦學特色，曾榮獲全國「健康促進學校」優質獎，並獲指定為「生命教育」特色學校。
