From a branch campus to its own school.

Shangfeng Elementary began life in 1948 as a branch campus of Daya Elementary School, one of the district's oldest schools. It grew steadily through the postwar decades and became a fully independent school in 1965, serving the Shangfeng village community in northern Daya. Its origin story is a common one across the district's rural villages, where postwar population growth outpaced what a single central school could serve.
