Sanzhi Junior High School

Sanzhi Junior High was founded in 1946 by the local township chief, who borrowed rooms from the farmers' association to hold the school's first classes since no dedicated campus existed yet. In its early years, the school drew students not only from Sanzhi but also from the neighboring Shimen township, reflecting how sparsely populated the North Coast was at the time — the region could only support shared, cross-township secondary education rather than separate schools for each area.

三芝國中創立於民國35年（1946年），由當地鄉長發起，因尚無專屬校舍，最初借用農會辦公室開辦第一屆課程。創校初期，學生不僅來自三芝，也包括鄰近的石門鄉，反映出當時北海岸人口稀少，僅能支撐跨鄉共用的中學教育，尚無法讓每個鄉鎮各自設立學校。
