Sanxia Elementary School

Sanxia Elementary opened in 1900 during the Japanese colonial era (Meiji 33), making it more than 120 years old and one of the oldest schools in the region. Its first classes were held in borrowed space at the Zushi Temple (長福巖祖師廟), a landmark still standing in the old town today. The school has been renamed repeatedly as administrative divisions shifted over the decades — from 三角湧公學校 to 三峽公學校, then 三峽國民學校, and finally 三峽國民小學 — and it celebrated its 110th anniversary in 2010.

三峽國小創立於明治33年（1900年）日治時期，至今已逾120年歷史，是本地區歷史最悠久的學校之一。創校之初借用長福巖祖師廟的空間上課，這座廟宇至今仍矗立於三峽老街。學校歷經多次更名，隨行政區劃調整由「三角湧公學校」改為「三峽公學校」，再改為「三峽國民學校」，最終定名「三峽國民小學」，並於民國99年（2010年）舉辦建校110週年慶祝活動。
