Ruicheng Elementary began in 1983 as a branch of Tucheng Elementary School and became independent in 1987. Emerging from the older Tucheng school system reflects the subdivision of Dali's original village-based school zones as the district grew. The campus was damaged in the 1999 921 earthquake and rebuilt with Tzu Chi Foundation aid, and today serves roughly 1,239 students.
瑞城國小於民國72年(1983年)以塗城國小分校形式創立,民國76年(1987年)獨立設校。源自較早的塗城學區體系,反映了大里原始村里學區隨地區發展而細分的過程。校舍在1999年921大地震中受損,其後在慈濟基金會協助下重建,現有約1,239名學生。
