Qingshui Junior High was founded in 1968 at the foot of Aofeng Mountain, the wooded hill overlooking Qingshui's old town. Over the decades it has grown into a comprehensive school offering a range of specialized tracks — including gifted classes, a music-talent class, an athletics class, and vocational and skills-based courses — giving students in the district multiple pathways suited to different interests and strengths.
