A coastal school with an athletic identity.
Qingquan Junior High was founded in 1968 near Qingshui's coastline, in a district long shaped by its identity as a fishing and coastal community facing the Taiwan Strait. Since 1993 the school has been designated a key national boxing development school, and it also fields competitive teams in kendo and cycling — giving the school a distinct athletic identity within the district.
