National Chung Hsing University

National Chung Hsing University traces its roots to 1919, when it was founded during the Japanese colonial era as an agronomy and forestry academy. It became a national university in 1971. Today NCHU is one of Taiwan's oldest and top public research universities, renowned for its programs in agriculture, forestry, and life sciences, and spans 11 colleges — including Veterinary Medicine and Medicine — with more than 100 courses taught in English for its roughly 16,000 students.

國立中興大學創立於1919年（日治時期），前身為農林專門學校。民國60年（1971年）升格為國立大學。現今中興大學是台灣歷史最悠久、頂尖的公立研究型大學之一，以農業、林業及生命科學研究見長，設有十一個學院——包括獸醫學院與醫學院——並開設逾百門全英語授課課程，服務約16,000名學生。
