Minquan Elementary was founded in 1968 as a standard public elementary school. In 2016 it was approved to become Changhua County's first public-run Waldorf experimental school (公辦公營), a significant shift in its educational approach. In 2019 it was restructured into a combined elementary-junior high school serving grades 1 through 9, and formally renamed Changhua County Minquan Waldorf Experimental Elementary and Junior High School (彰化縣民權華德福實驗國民中小學). This site continues to catalogue it under its elementary-school grades.
民權國小創立於民國57年（1968年），最初是一所普通公立國小。民國105年（2016年）獲核准成為彰化縣第一所公辦公營華德福實驗學校，教育理念因此有了重大轉變。民國108年（2019年），學校重整為涵蓋一至九年級的國中小合併學校，正式更名為「彰化縣民權華德福實驗國民中小學」。本網站仍以其國小學制介紹此校。
