Mingde Senior High School

Mingde began in 1980 as a branch campus of Sanxia Junior High, became an independent junior high in 1984, and grew into a complete junior-and-senior-high school in 1995 — making it one of New Taipei's three earliest public complete high schools. It is the only public school in Taiwan offering boarding at both the junior- and senior-high level, drawing students from across the surrounding mountainous region. Its tracks include general studies, a forensic-science/math experimental class, an international bilingual class, and a sports class, and the school won the most gold medals nationally at the 2023 National Secondary Schools Games. Its alumni include Olympic archery medalists.

明德高中創立於民國69年（1980年），初為三峽國中分校，民國73年（1984年）獨立設立國中部，民國84年（1995年）發展為完全中學，是新北市最早成立的三所公立完全中學之一。學校也是全台唯一國中部與高中部皆設有住宿部的公立學校，吸引來自周邊山區的學生就讀。設有普通科、鑑識科學／數理實驗班、國際雙語班及體育班等學程，並於2023年全國中等學校運動會奪得全國最多金牌。校友中不乏奧運射箭獎牌得主。
