A sibling school from old Xisheng.
Min'an Elementary shares its origin with neighboring Guotai Elementary, both tracing back to the same "Xingzhi Public School's Xisheng Branch School" founded in 1919 and split around 1950. Min'an became an independent school in 1961 as Min'an National School, and like Guotai, it celebrated its centennial in May 2019 — a century of teaching in one of Xinzhuang's oldest riverside communities.
民安國小與鄰近的國泰國小同源，兩校皆可追溯至1919年設立的「興直公學校西盛分教場」，約於1950年分立。民安於民國50年（1961年）獨立設校，定名為民安國民學校；與國泰一樣，於2019年5月舉辦建校百週年慶祝活動——見證新莊最古老河濱聚落之一長達百年的教育歷程。
