Qiaotou Elementary School dates to around 1925, and celebrated its 100th anniversary with a ceremony and sports meet in April 2025. The school operates a branch campus at Xucuo and recently completed a rebuild of its old school buildings — unveiling, at the same time, Yunlin County's new "Indigenous Education Resource Center" on its campus.
