Mailiao Elementary School

Mailiao Elementary traces its roots to around 1920 and celebrated its centennial in 2020. It has grown into the largest elementary school in Yunlin County for four consecutive years, with 52 classes serving the township's children. Beyond academics, the school runs a volleyball sports class and maintains several traditional performing-arts groups: a drum troupe, a puppet theater group, and a dragon dance team, keeping local heritage alive for new generations.

麥寮國小創校可追溯至民國9年（約1920年），並於2020年舉辦建校百週年慶祝活動。學校連續四年蟬聯雲林縣規模最大國小，全校共52班。除了學科教育，學校也開設排球體育班，並設有傳統技藝團隊——鑼鼓陣、布袋戲團與舞龍隊，讓在地文化技藝得以代代相傳。
