Zhonghe Elementary School was founded on September 1, 1954 as Fengrong Elementary School's "草湖分校" branch classroom, with lessons originally taught in a borrowed private residence in Caohu Village. The school has since grown into a full campus that runs a wood ball team and English-language programs for its students.
中和國小創立於1954年9月1日,最初為豐榮國小的「草湖分校」分教室,最早借用草湖村一戶民宅授課。學校如今已發展為完整校區,設有木球隊與英語課程。
